FullCapture

Terms of use

Last updated: 22 September 2026

In one line. FullCapture is free and open source under the MIT licence, provided as is, and what you capture with it is entirely your own business and your own responsibility.

1. The licence

The FullCapture extension is released under the MIT licence. You may use it for anything, including commercial work, and you may read, modify and redistribute its source code under the terms of that licence. The licence text ships with the source.

2. What you pay

Nothing. There is no paid tier, no subscription, no trial that expires, and no feature held back. Nobody will ever ask you for payment details inside the extension. If something claiming to be FullCapture does, it is not us.

3. Your screenshots are yours

We claim no rights over anything you capture, annotate or export. We also never receive it: the extension has no server and makes no network requests, as described in the privacy policy.

4. Using it responsibly

You are responsible for what you capture and where you send it. In particular, you agree not to use FullCapture to:

The blur and pixelate tools exist so you can remove private details before sharing. Whether you use them is up to you.

5. No warranty

FullCapture is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. A browser update, an unusual page layout, or an extremely long page can cause a capture to fail or to come out wrong. Do not rely on it as the only record of something that matters - keep the original.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors and copyright holders are not liable for any claim, damages or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort or otherwise, arising from or in connection with the software or its use. This includes lost screenshots, lost work and lost time.

7. Third-party stores and browsers

Installing from the Chrome Web Store, Microsoft Edge Add-ons or any other marketplace also puts you under that marketplace's terms, and using a browser puts you under its terms. Those are between you and them. What a browser will and will not let an extension do can change at any time; where that changes what FullCapture can do, it will be noted in the changelog.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated. The current version will always be on this page, with the date at the top. Continuing to use the extension after a change means you accept the updated terms.
